Commission Confirmation

Thank you for your interest in a commissioned artwork. Before I begin, I will confirm the details of your commission with you, including the size, materials, agreed price, artistic direction and estimated completion time.

Payment:

A 25% deposit is required before I begin working on the commission. The remaining 50% is due once the artwork is completed and before it is shipped.

Cancellation:

If you cancel the commission before I have started working on it, any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable Dutch consumer law and the circumstances of the cancellation.

Once work has begun, cancellation by the client may result in the deposit being retained to cover work, materials and time already committed to the commission, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If I am unable to complete the commission for reasons attributable to me, I will refund the amount paid for the uncompleted work.

Custom artwork:

Because the artwork is created specifically according to your requirements, the statutory 14-day withdrawal period generally does not apply where the legal conditions for the custom-made goods exception are met.

Before payment is made, I will provide you with the final commission details and applicable terms for your confirmation.
